Tecom to Unveil the TechPod Presenter at InfoComm 2008
Feature-laden compact lectern provides fully integrated presentation platform
Ramat Gan, Israel – 30 April 2008 – Tecom Electronics, the designers of TechPod, will launch its TechPod Presenter, a cutting-edge compact AV lectern at InfoComm2008, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 18-20. Tecom will be at booth C2734.
“InfoComm 2008 is the premiere event in our industry, so it is the ideal venue at which to launch TechPod Presenter,â€? said Aviv Brosilovski, Tecom’s CEO. “We have been designing presentation systems since 1996, and this unit leverages the latest advances in AV technology.”
Sporting a sleek, modern design, the TechPod Presenter is a sophisticated compact lectern. Its standard
features include a high-end computer; DVD; 19-21 inch interactive screen, which allows for annotation directly on screen; microphone; audio system controls; laptop docking port; USB connections; and an optional wooden cover.
The TechPod Presenter is fully ADA compliant; it comes equipped with electronically controlled hydraulic lifts for height adjustment. Interfacing easily with any projector or projection system, its compact design easily accommodates conference centers, lecture halls and boardrooms.
Tecom also will be exhibiting its TechPod All-In-One Multimedia Lecterns. The TechPod has had hundreds of installations throughout the United States, Europe, and Middle East, and more than 1 million hours of use. It is now available in several finishes, with an optional wood cover, a larger Corian® work surface, and A/C outlets, based on Tecom user feedback.
All of Tecom’s products are designed for intuitive use, and require minimal servicing, making them a favorite of everyone from corporations to educational centers to military briefing centers.
“We’ve created the TechPod Presenter as a mini-dynamo — smaller, competitively priced but truly a powerhouse regarding features and ease of use,â€? concludes Brosilovski. “Tecom can now provide for AV needs from smaller rooms to large venues at a very competitive price while providing unparalleled performance with ease of use.
