Kansas City, MO – May 2008 … Avlex Corporation, the name audio professionals turn to for the finest wireless technology, microphones, and portable PA systems, is pleased to introduce the new Superlux D108A Dynamic Vocal Microphone. Ideally suited for performing musicians and vocalists, the new D108A delivers superior performance characteristics combined with world-class build quality. The result is a vocal microphone performers can count on for outstanding sound characteristics that can also withstand the rigors of the road.

The new Superlux D108A Dynamic Vocal Microphone features a super cardioid capsule residing in an all-metal, shock resistant housing with a foam mesh grille. The microphone’s modular capsule exhibits excellent off-axis rejection and high gain before feedback. The result is a microphone that delivers the high output levels today’s performers demand while faithfully capturing the performer’s voice with minimal extraneous sounds from other areas on stage.

Featuring exceptionally flat frequency response and a proximity effect optimized for the performing vocalist, the new Superlux D108A provides extremely smooth, natural output quality. With a frequency response of 50 Hz – 16 kHz, the new D108A has a broad frequency range to ensure natural sounding, pristine audio quality for today’s vocal performers.

The new Superlux D108A is built tough to provide years of dependable service. To ensure against unintended movement of the on/off switch, the D108A offers a built in locking plate to ensure the switch remains in the desired position. Further, the microphone’s all-metal construction features a modular design with gold plated connectors for superior signal transmission and a beautiful, charcoal scratch resistant finish designed to retain its good looks.

The new Superlux D108A Dynamic Vocal Microphone is supplied with a microphone clip and a protective carrying pouch.

Jack Nead, national sales manager for Avlex Corporation, commented on the new Superlux D108A Dynamic Vocal Microphone. “With a smooth, natural sound quality that is extremely musical, the Superlux D108A delivers vocal performances with tremendous clarity—without capturing unwanted sounds that surround the performer. This microphone’s build quality is nothing short of terrific and, as a result, it feels absolutely right in one’s hand. The D108A is a great sounding vocal mic that also provides tremendous value. I’m confident it will find a home with many performers.?
