It meets the National Telecommunications and Infrastructure Administration (NTIA) requirements for Coupon Eligible Converter Boxes (CECB), qualifying for a $40 coupon that consumers can apply toward the cost of the unit. And, the Tivax unit exceeds ENERGY STAR® requirements, a program designed to help consumers save money and protect the environment through the use of energy efficient products.
