Draper Will Have First UL-Certified Scissor-Style Projector Lift
Spiceland, Indiana – Draper’s Micro Projector Lift (MPL) has become the first scissor-style projector lift to receive UL certification. The MPL operates using Draper’s patented three-scissor mechanism, making it much more stable than lifts with two-scissor mechanisms.
The MPL is designed to work wherever you need it, from small conference room to auditorium to home theater. The MPL’s 2’ x 2’ footprint fits within existing ceiling grids, and it retracts to as small as 5 (not including the projector and bracket, environmental air space housing or closure panel).
The MPL is available with an optional Environmental Air Space Housing that is also UL-certified, and an optional closure designed to fit into a drop ceiling grid. You can use the ceiling white closure as-is, or you can easily insert tile to match the surrounding ceiling. Draper’s SMS Low Profile Mount with Universal Projector Bracket is also available to easily install and adjust your projector inside the MPL.
