All Adtec products include a common built-in command interface and media scheduler for a variety of successful playback options. Video content is easily loaded, managed, and prompted for playback using the mediaControl software which runs on both Windows and Mac OSX operating systems. Broadcast quality video files can be programmed to play on a loop when the units receive power, triggered to play according to time, or activated from external control systems via the parallel or serial port. These features are especially handy in applications such as interactive information kiosks or in theme park shows. Synchronized playback is a standard on all models.

Regardless of source resolution, the products can scale video output resolution to match the target monitors’ resolution up to full 1080P high definition. Users can broadcast both SD and HD content within the same player.
