All four video inputs (component, composite/s-video and two HDMI) offer supplemental audio inputs; component and composite/s-video in analog RCA stereo format and HDMI in digital TOSlink and S/PDIF audio formats. Whatever source is selected sends the audio embedded with the video in the HDMI format and mirrored in TOSlink and S/PDIF outputs.

Silicon Optix’s Realta chipset enables HQV scaling for the HDMI v1.3 format offering support for TrueHD and DTS Master Audio as well as the entire scope of HDMI v1.3 features.
