Kramer Introduces the VP-435 Component/UXGA HDMI Scaler

vp-435-front.jpgKramer Electronics is pleased to announce the introduction of the VP-435 Component/UXGA HDMI Scaler. The unit, which incorporates HDMI technology, scales incoming video signals for HDMI output while embedding audio. The VP-435 is ideal for projection systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, hotels and churches, as well as for home theater up-scaling.

Kramer Electronics’ VP-435 Component/UXGA HDMI Scaler supports High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), an uncompressed all-digital audio/video interface, widely used in the entertainment and home cinema industry. HDMI can deliver the maximum high-definition image and sound quality in use today. The VP-435 unit accepts one of three inputs – component video, computer graphics video, or an HDMI signal – and scales the video while embedding the audio, then outputs the signal to an HDMI output. The VP-435 is HDTV compatible, and resolution can be scaled up to 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i or 1080p, all of which are selectable using a front panel button. The unit automatically detects and selects an audio source for the HDMI input: if HDMI audio is not present, the VP-435 employs audio from the analog input.

The VP-435 is housed in a desktop-sized enclosure, operates via 12VDC and comes with an On-Screen Display (OSD) for easy setup and adjustment. It offers a non-volatile memory that retains the last settings used. The unit can be controlled directly using front-panel buttons, IR remote control transmitter (included with purchase), or a remote dry contact switch.

The VP-435 Component/UXGA HDMI Scaler is currently available from Kramer Electronics worldwide reseller networks and sells at a list price of $895. Complete product information can be found at www.kramermatrix.com.
