A virtual press conference from Sound & Video Contractor

LAS VEGAS, NV – JUNE 18, 2008 – WideBand Solutions, a leading provider of high-end audio conferencing technology, debuts its SimphoniX Si-400+ and Si-10+ Integrator Kits along with a TANDBERG Universal Bundle, which is compatible with the company’s best-selling video conferencing system, at InfoComm 2008 (Booth C4540). Wideband streamlined its manufacturing processes, eliminating the need for dealers to order specific parts to connect to specific analog, digital and VoIP telephones.

Through WideBand’s Universal Bundles, all cabling and parts are included and are compatible with all digital/VoIP or analog telephones on the market. This is provided without an additional cost to the dealer while increasing convenience, by not having to order each part individually. All cables provided are in standard 25 ft. lengths unless specified otherwise on the order.

“In the past, our dealers needed to know what specific telephone system the customer was using in order to have all the necessary parts and cables to install the system properly,? says Lonny Bowers, president of WideBand Solutions. “Our newly introduced bundles address this concern by creating an efficient universal installation, regardless of the phone system in use.?

WideBand Solutions’ SimphoniX Si-400+ and Si-10+ Integrator Kits also include all the cabling and connectors needed to attach to any Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, Siemens and any other digital/VoIP telephone with standard compliant RJ9 or RJ22 headset ports. The Si-400+ includes a four-channel, rack-mount AEC with analog and digital phone interface, while the Si-10 includes a standard rack-mount phone interface. Both include phone interface cables and an isolation transformer for digital/VoIP phones.

WideBand Solutions’ SimphoniX Si-400 is designed with hardware and speech algorithms that accommodate the full range of human hearing — delivering clean, loud and clear audio. It is a high-quality conferencing system that is compatible with hundreds of digital and VoIP phones. Additionally, the SimphoniX Si-400 functions as a stand alone solution or can be easily integrated into a larger, existing system. Features include, Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC); noise reduction; auto-mixing with Voice Activity Detection (VAD); Digital, VoIP and Analog Phone Lines; Cross Point Automatic Gain Control (AGC); Web Management; and Voice Reinforcement.

WideBand Solutions’ SimphoniX Si-10 features an integrated telephone hybrid for connection to the PSTN (Publicly Switched Telephone Network), and operates behind a PBX or IP-PBX with consistent quality between internal and external calls. To provide transparent adaptation to different line conditions, WideBand uses the latest generation in Line Echo Cancellation. Connecting line levels to an AEC Mixer provides an analog phone interface and connection to today’s digital and VoIP phones; both phone interfaces may be used simultaneously for a variety of applications. This enables several phone components to be used during conferencing, such as address books, multi-party calls and high-fidelity speech processing. The keypad and functions remain active throughout the conference call, yet on most phones, the handset can be lifted for privacy. For dialing and privacy, a set jack is also available, while the system’s Logic Inputs may be used to create simple control scenarios including Hook, Volume and Muting.

TANDBERG’s Universal Bundle includes WideBand’s WC301 Echo Cancellation Mixer, a standard universal telephone interface cable and an isolation transformer for digital/VoIP phones. It also includes all the cabling and connectors needed to connect to any Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, Siemens and any other digital/VoIP telephone with standard compliant RJ9 or RJ22 headset ports. The TANDBERG bundle also incorporates the required WebCall cables into the bundle, including an RCA 3.5 mm mono cable as well as RCA 3.5 mm with attenuation cable.

WideBand Solutions’ WC301 Echo Cancellation Mixer is designed to accommodate the growing number of team conferencing applications in voice, web and video-conferencing applications. Each microphone channel provides independent signal processing to remove echo, fan noise and to accommodate people who are soft-spoken, especially when in a group setting. WideBand’s adaptive algorithms provide clear speech and stability without the need to calibrate the system. The system connects to the sound card of a computer and may also be connected to many VoIP, digital or analog phones. The system delivers high-end audio quality from a plug-and-play compact design.

WideBand Solutions is also offering a price reduction to its SimphoniX Si-400 as well as its FC101 Feedback Canceller products, to reflect added efficiencies in WideBand’s manufacturing processes.
