Audio Enhancement Displays Industry Leading Enhanced Learning Systems at InfoComm 2008
• Launches Reseller Initiative To Establish National Dealer Network.
• Introduces Economical SoloSolution Portable Infrared Audio System.
Las Vegas, NV (June 18, 2008) – Audio Enhancement, the education industry’s leader in enhanced classroom learning systems, is displaying its comprehensive line of enhanced learning systems powered by Panasonic’s world renowned audio technology here at InfoComm 2008. The company’s presence at the show supports Audio Enhancement’s new reseller initiative to establish a national network of professional A/V dealers. Additionally, Audio Enhancement is showcasing its new SoloSolution Portable Infrared Audio System designed to allow educators to easily employ the proven benefits of enhanced learning systems anywhere in the field.
“It has been repeatedly documented that students of all ages perform better when they are better able to hear their instructors, said Jeff Anderson, President, Audio Enhancement. “Today’s students face more challenges and distractions than ever before. Ambient noise levels impact students’ ability to hear and comprehend instructional material. Audio Enhancement was founded nearly 30 years ago to help students overcome some of these challenges by improving their ability to clearly receive information.
With Audio Enhancement’s enhanced learning systems, instructors wear a small infrared wireless microphone that transmits their voices to a system of speakers evenly distributed throughout the classroom, typically in the ceiling. This allows the instructors to speak in a normal one-on-one voice, creating a comfortable listening and learning environment for each individual student. This proven teaching technique also helps to improve student behavior and on-task performance.
The systems also employ handheld wireless microphones used by the students in the classroom, helping them feel more comfortable and confident as they increase their participation in learning activities. For many students, increased participation leads directly to stronger reinforcement of the subject matter being taught and ultimately to better retention of information. When students realize they are learning, their own confidence improves in addition to their academic achievement and their grades.
Audio Enhancement’s enhanced learning systems feature up to four simultaneous infrared wireless microphones, multi-media mute control while a teacher is talking or during PA announcements, and control of all audio sources through one intelligent friendly PC user interface. New to their list of systems solutions is the SoloSolution – a compact multimedia sound system that features up to two infrared wireless microphones designed specifically for on-site instruction outside of a traditional classroom setting.
Audio Enhancement enhanced learning systems offer an innovative Teardrop Infrared Wireless Microphone that features a patented remote control, allowing the instructor to control the volume of the student microphone, his or her own microphone or, on some systems, the auxiliary input level from another media source.
Audio Enhancement’s enhanced learning systems include:
The Innovator Classroom System with up to four available infrared microphones and features multi-media mute control and control of all audio sources with remote volume control of all microphones and auxiliary input levels.
The Ultimate Classroom Audio System with up to two available infrared microphones and features multi-media mute control and remote volume control of microphones and auxiliary inputs.
The Achiever Classroom Audio System combines value and performance, and is available with up to two infrared microphones with remote volume control of both microphones.
The Infrared Receiver System features volume level adjustments from an instructor’s microphone with independent control of a second microphone with auxiliary inputs for connection of other media sources.
