Pompton Plains, NJ––The newest addition to Powersoft’s flagship Digam K Series power amps and a model of volumetric efficiency, the ultra-compact new K3 measures only 1 RU by 14″ (360 mm) deep and weighs only 17.6 lbs (8 Kg)––yet produces 2,800 watts per channel at 2 Ohm.

As its predecessors, the K3 also features Power Factor Correction (PFC) for exceptionally low power consumption and wide mains operating range. Advanced switch-mode worldwide operating power supply enables seamless worldwide use

The K3 has a comprehensive-user friendly front panel display menu with an LCD matrix interactive display. Displays include load impedance, output power and mains voltage measurements for each channel.

Other precision functions include a digital gain-attenuator control and user selectable maximum output power for each channel, along with maximum mains current draw

A variable speed fan reduces noise to digital audio threshold; temperatures can be closely monitored with LCD-recorded performance tracking. The K3′s fixed frequency switchmode output stage ensures superior sonic accuracy.

Designed for optimum user flexibility, the K3 includes built in Remote Control (RS 485 interface) for full diagnostic, operational setting and system monitoring; Smart Card settings, parameters. Options include built-in DSP and Ethernet control featuring Powersoft’s brilliant new KAESOP protocol and fully compatible with the new Audio Suite software that the company will release in late spring.
