TV One Hires Jay Gonzalez as Southeast Regional Sales Manager

Gonzalez joins TV One with an extensive Sales and Leadership background as the Vice President of Sales – New Technology Media Technology Solutions division at Technical Innovations LLC most recently and was the Chief Technologist – Broadcast at MCSi before that. He will oversee the following seven states: Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.

“We are so excited to have such an enthusiastic individual join our TV One team,? said Dan Gibson, Vice President of TV One. “Jay has such a passion for the industry and brings experience and education to a geographical area that will round out our U.S. sales force.?

Gonzalez has an extensive record of boosting sales revenues, positively impacting profitability and creating long-term strategic customer relationships. While at Technical Innovations LLC, he closed the sale on a $40 million contract, the company’s third largest and identified a breakthrough technology taking the product from concept to market and securing early adopters to generate $8 million in sales in the first year.

Before that, Gonzalez worked at MCSi where he achieved record-breaking sales and secured a new $5 million contract with an international strategic customer. He has an impressive Engineering background received while working at Panasonic Broadcast & Television Systems Company from 1988-2001. He started as a Senior Engineer and worked his way up to National Engineering Manager.
