LAS VEGAS, NV (June 2008) –Hard Steal Security Corp. today unveiled the next generation in their AV Cage®. The AV Cage rev 2 (patent pending) is a fully adjustable projector mount with advanced security features integrated directly into the design.

The AV Cage completely replaces a typical unsecure mount and is designed to fit a wide range of projectors. Optional Height, Length & Width extension kits offer an even greater range of configuration. The “universal” adjustability of the AV Cage means that users will be able to lifecycle manage their projector assets without fear of also having to replace mounting hardware.

AV Cage rev. 2 new features:

• NEW in rev. 2 – Lens offset correction. The interlocking top plates are now fully perforated, allowing up to 180 possible mounting positions for the ball & collar, while also enhancing airflow around the projector.

• NEW in rev. 2 – Full wrap wings are now included standard with every mount.

• NEW in rev. 2 – The lock tab – which determines the position of the full wrap wings – now has a 2.5″ range of adjustment.

• NEW in rev. 2 – Moveable arms. There are now 5 possible mounting positions EACH for the left & right arms.

• NEW in rev. 2 – “One Size Fits All” – height/width/length extension kits replace the Mini/Standard/Large sizes of the original AV Cage. Resellers & direct clients can now stock one model that will accommodate most mid-range projectors, and order extension kits if needed.

AV Cage standard features:

• Mounts onto standard 1.5� NPT pipe, with no exposed fasteners. The patented ball & collar provides 15° of yaw/pitch adjustment in any direction,

• Includes keyed alike Disk Locks, with Lock Upgrades and other options that can provide scalable levels of additional security and management,

• Is manufactured in North America of heavy gauge cold-rolled steel, and finished in an attractive and durable industrial powder coat.
