The Village Hosts Movie Soundtrack Sessions
West Los Angeles, CA (July 7, 2008) — Movies starring Will Smith have come to dominate the Fourth of July holiday weekend and this year was no exception, with “Hancock” attracting over $100 million in U.S. box office receipts. The film’s soundtrack was mixed on the vintage Neve console in Studio A at The Village Recorder in West Los Angeles. Composer John Powell produced the sessions with engineer Hugo Nicolson and second engineer Ghian Wright. more
