Overland Park, KS, July 24, 2008 – Induction Dynamics®, an Overland Park, Kansas based audio company, will feature the new ID1-18 tower loudspeaker at CEDIA 2008.

This new, high-power speaker is an impressive 5’ 5 ¾� (65.75�) in height and provides very high power handling down to the lowest audible frequencies, while maintaining the exceptional sound quality for which Induction Dynamics is known. The ID1-18 incorporates dual 18� subwoofers with a three-way speaker design for compact space requirements.

With a 1.125� high-power soft dome tweeter, a 3� soft dome midrange, dual 8� woofers with Kevlar cones, and dual 18� high-excursion subwoofers with laminated cones, the company says this loudspeaker easily brings large listening spaces alive. The ID1-18 boasts many of Induction Dynamics’ patented features, including exclusive S4X™ driver-control technology, Wide Angle™ phase alignment, and non-reflective grille frames.

Also available as companions to the ID1-18 are the new S1.8 Super 8 3-Way Loudspeaker, the high-power C1-8 center-channel speaker and the A2 600-watt subwoofer amplifier with patented excursion-limiter technology.

The ID loudspeakers are available in standard rosewood gloss, black satin and black gloss and can also be customized to any buyer’s wish. Grilles are available in 63 standard color options. Accessories include chrome finished, adjustable carpet spikes.
