ATLAS EXPANDS LINE OF RACK ACCESSORIES
Pullout drawers, sequenced power conditioner, and keyboard/monitor drawer included among latest catalog offerings
PHOENIX, AZ, July 28, 2008—Atlas Sound introduces a host of new products including a number of rack accessories providing value-engineered storage and power conditioning alternatives.
Making their debut within the SD Series, two, three, four, and six RU pullout drawers (models SD2-14, SD3-14, SD4-14, and SD6-14 respectively) come equipped with a standard 14-inch drawer slide and overall drawer depth of 14.75 inches. Employing a recessed design and reversed hanger that keeps contents inside from falling out if the rack enclosure is moved, each drawer is available with an optional key lock.
Built in full compliance with EIA310x and IEC-3 specifications, the new model MMK15-RM rackmount keyboard/monitor drawer can also be found among products being unveiled by Atlas. Shipped to end-users with its own built-in 105 character keyboard, touchpad, and flip-up 15-inch LCD monitor with 1024 x 768 resolution and anti-glare/tempered glass, the MMK15-RM additionally features heavy-duty steel construction and an integral, self-locking slide rail facilitating easy installation. An auto-switching 100VAC/240VAC power supply unit is also offered as part of the package.
Last among the new Atlas rack accessories is the ECS3 rackmount power conditioner and sequencer. Providing comprehensive surge and spike protection, the ECS3 is equipped with nine outlets: Seven on the rear panel, and two on the front. The rear seven outlets can be sequenced either via front panel controls or remote trigger sources. A total of three sequencer timing settings can be selected along with RI/EMI noise filtering. A sequence trigger output has been thoughtfully provided at an external 20A outlet, while front panel displays include LED indicators for live and neutral wiring, high/low AC line voltage at 105V or 128V, and active circuit breaker protection at 15A, which is revealed by a “breaker open” LED. A digital voltmeter displays all incoming voltage.
Outfitted with a two-position dimmer switch, a pullout LED illuminates the front of the unit, while a rear-mounted LED lamp shines a light out back. External DCV sequence trigger activation is offered at 5VDC – 24VDC; extreme voltage shutdown (EVS) protection resides at 100V or 135V AC.
All of the new Atlas Sound rack accessories are in stock and shipping, exclusively available from authorized Atlas dealers nationwide. The entire family of Atlas Sound Rack Accessories can be found on the Atlas Sound web site: www.atlassound.com
