Fairlight Appoints Total Audio Solutions in the UK
In a move to support significant growth in the UK, Fairlight has appointed Total Audio Solutions as its new Business Partner, with responsibility for its entire range of ground-breaking audio for video products.
Total Audio Solutions, which was set up as a professional audio facilities company in 1996, has a wealth of experience in the music, broadcast and post production markets. It distributes and supplies premium quality pro audio brands and also designs, specifies, supplies and installs equipment into outside broadcast vehicles, radio, television and recording studios.
Fairlight’s Sales & Marketing Director, Stuart DeMarais, says: “Joining forces with a highly respected and diversified technology supplier like Total Audio Solutions will enable us to introduce the Fairlight platform to much wider audience and allow us to engage a much larger customer base. The recent UK wide Xynergi ‘road show’ proved how much enthusiasm and potential there is out there for our products and we’re looking forward to an exciting year of growth
Peter Knowles, managing director of Total Audio Solutions, adds: “We are absolutely delighted to add such an impressive product range to our roster. As a former broadcast sound supervisor I have used virtually every digital audio workstation on the market but I have yet to find anything that matches Fairlight for speed, reliability and ease of use. This latest generation of Fairlight technology is exactly what the market needs. It provides professionals with a solid platform that not only has impeccable ‘green’ credentials but also gives them the sharpest and most intuitive editing tools in the box.
As a Fairlight Business Partner, Total Audio Solutions is now the UK’s first point of customer contact for Xynergi, Constellation, Pyxis and Anthem. The company has set up a dedicated Fairlight team to provide the highest level of pre and post sales support and is also opening a Fairlight office in London’s Soho where it will be able to demonstrate the impressive range of post production tools.
“One of the main reasons why we wanted to work with Fairlight was the strength of its management team, Peter Knowles adds. “The company is incredibly proactive and very much in tune with what its customers want. Fairlight’s R&D department are nothing short of genius. Anyone thinking of buying a digital audio workstation simply has to consider Fairlight because these products are right at the forefront of today’s technology.
Total Audio Solutions provides its services to a broad spectrum of customers including Broadcasters, Location Sound Recordists, Post Production Studios, Outside Broadcast facilities, Theatres, PA companies, Universities, Colleges and Schools. It also owns and operates studios and recording vehicles, which are in daily use on a range of projects such as Scrapheap Challenge and The F Word. It is this real world expertise that allows them to advise and support their customers at the highest level.
