SYLMAR, Calif. — Sept. 3, 2008 — DNF Controls today announced that Gilbert Felix has been named head of the company’s international sales division. Gilbert was previously responsible for DNF Controls’ Latin American sales, a role in which he generated numerous opportunities and successes. He will now oversee worldwide sales from Miami, Fla.

“Over the past four years, Gilbert has been a tremendous resource for our company both in technical support and sales roles,” said John Duggin, president of DNF Controls. “With his fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and his natural talent for building strong relationships with clients, he has helped our company build a significant presence in key Latin American markets. Gilbert began his career with DNF Controls as a technical support expert, moving quickly into sales, where he assisted new and existing Latin American clients in finding the best control solutions for their needs and applications. Prior to joining DNF Controls, he spent nine years at Warner Brothers, where he worked in television post-production with roles in telecine assist, DVD replication, and customer service.
