Strong Growth Drives Expansion of Calypso’s Operations
WOODBURY, MN, Oct. 27, 2008 — Increased adoption of technology in schools has led to unprecedented growth for Calypso Control Systems, a provider of solutions for seamlessly incorporating multimedia devices and content into collaborative, interactive classrooms. Having outgrown its previous location due to increased demand, Calypso has moved its headquarters and operations from Hudson, WI, to Woodbury, MN.
“Technology in the K-12 classroom can no longer be viewed as a luxury; it has become an integral part of the learning process, said David H. Parish, Ph.D., president of Calypso Control Systems. “Investing in education requires an investment in a school’s technology infrastructure. Our growth is a result of our ability to empower K-12 schools with the tools necessary to realize the potential of the 21st Century Classroom – particularly with our ezRoom Classroom Bundle.
Since its introduction in May 2008, Calypso’s ezRoom Classroom Bundle has been installed in more than 1,000 classrooms and has established a proven track record among teachers and administrators for its ability to seamlessly manage and incorporate information from multiple A/V sources into daily lesson plans.
Having outgrown its previous location, Calypso’s new location provides the company with room to expand. The move to Calypso’s new location at 700 Commerce Road, Ste. 180, Woodbury, MN, was completed in mid-October.
