CEDIA-certified instructor Mike Marko from Capitol Sales will be the instructor leading all three classes.

11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Learn the Basics of Commercial Audio & 70 Volt Systems
Have you considered expanding your opportunities in the area of commercial audio? Learn how to leverage your residential experience to design and install commercial distributed audio systems. Compare consumer and 70 Volt audio systems and dispel misinformation regarding these systems. We will review terminology, components and the calculations necessary for successful design. Common applications including sports bars, offices, warehouses, retail and restaurants will be discussed. This class is for the salesperson, designer and installer.

1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Communications in the Home—from Intercom to Phone Systems
Review client requirements from basic intercom and single line phone applications to large integrated phone systems with voice mail. This class will provide an overview of a wide range of communication options from very simple to the more complex. Find out the expertise you need, what questions to ask, and solutions available. We will discuss offerings from manufacturers like AT&T, Channel Vision, EnGenius, Mitel, NEC, OnQ Legrand, Panasonic, Russound, Uniden and more. This class is for the salesperson, designer and installer.
