Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, recently released an innovative line of wallplate audio/video over twisted pair extenders designed for use in Europe and Great Britain.
“Europe is an important market for Intelix, explains Steve Cohan, Intelix CEO and International Sales Manager. “They wholeheartedly embrace the latest trends in audio/video and push for better and better technology. Over the years, Intelix audio/video over twisted pair products have found an important place in the European market; however, our sales were limited to modular and rack-mountable solutions. That changes with our new wallplate baluns which are specifically designed for the European and UK building wiring infrastructure.
Available in European Union (-EU) and United Kingdom (-UK) wallbox standards, Intelix’s initial releases include solutions for component video, composite video, analog audio, and digital audio. Each extender features gold-plated female RCA connectors on a white face-plate. The rear panel features a 110 punchdown block and fully enclosed metal chassis. All units ship with a 110 termination tool.
All models are compatible with Intelix modular AvoCat Series extenders.
