Capitol Sales Learning Instituteâ„¢ Launches
ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 12, 2008—Already a recognized leader in industry education, Capitol Sales Company is redefining its education efforts to broaden its reach and become more accessible to dealers. The new comprehensive education program launches April 2009 with the Capitol Sales Learning Institute™—Regional Outreach program. This phase will take Capitol Sales’ successful training offerings on the road to six regions throughout 2009 in partnership with CEDIA On The Road.
“The first step we’re taking with our new Learning Institute will provide a dramatically improved version of our annual Dealer Education and Technology Showcase, said Curt Hayes, President and Chief Financial Officer. “Providing additional convenience and accessibility for dealers is a cornerstone of the program. More dealers will benefit from educational opportunities closer to home, which will save them travel time and cost.
Joining Capitol Sales Company as an exclusive partner is CEDIA On The Road. Courses from CEDIA University On The Road will be held in conjunction with the Capitol Sales Learning Institute-Regional Outreach. All Capitol Sales classes will be taught by CEDIA-certified instructors with dealers receiving CEU credits through CEDIA University.
Hayes indicated the Regional Outreach is just the beginning for the Capitol Sales Learning Institute. “We’ll have more information available in early 2009 on other education initiative, which will include both in-house and web-based training, he concluded.
