Magenta Research Introduces National Sales Manager

New Milford, CT, November 24, 2008 – Magenta Research, the recognized leader in video, audio and control signal distribution and switching over Cat5/CatX cable and optical fiber, is pleased to announce that Dan Smith has been appointed National Sales Manager.

Dan will lead the internal sales organization and Magenta field representatives to maximize Magenta revenues in the United States. Prior to joining Magenta, Dan was National Sales Manager for the Information Technology Division of Samsung and previously worked for Tech Data. Mr. Smith has extensive experiences in the Pro AV segment with an intimate knowledge of the sales channels and existing relationships with many of the recognized industry Sales Representative’s, Dealers, Integrators and Consultants.
