Chicago, IL (January 13, 2009)—Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power and connectivity solutions, has introduced two new, all-in-one USB Over Cat5 Extender Hubs (Models U224-1R4-R and U224-4R4-R).

The U224-1R4-R consists of a 3-port USB 2.0 hub and a 1-port remote receiver. The U224-4R4-R consists of a transmitter and a 4-port USB remote hub. Both models enable peripheral devices to be located up to 150 feet from a computer using inexpensive Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
