HME Releases New DX121 Digital Wireless Intercom System
High Expectations Set for HME’s New DX121 Digital Wireless Intercom System
A Powerful and Affordable, Spectrum Friendlyâ„¢ 2.4GHz System
San Diego, CA, February 2, 2009 – Big demand is predicted this year for HME’s new DX121 Digital Wireless Intercom System. Industries requiring wireless channels for one to four users, as well as those that need the flexibility of expanded wireless support throughout large venues will be excited about this latest system. Its compact, robust design was made for longevity. And its ease of use, added features, affordability and expandability are the perfect solution for today’s requirements.
The DX121 easily plugs into the intercom headset jack of any hardwired intercom station, extending the range of the operator for up to 1,000 feet. It is powerful enough to support multiple channel applications – up to eight systems can be used in the same location. Engineered with the latest in 2.4GHz Spectrum Friendly technology, the DX121 also serves requirements for a lower-cost system that can be expanded as communication requirements change.
Describing some of the unique features of the DX121, HME Product Manager Rick Molina explains “The DX121 base has a built-in battery charger for the remote Communicator® battery that also will work as a power source during power outages or glitches. It has headset and four-wire connections, relay actuation and our new 2.4GHz FHSS Spectrum Friendly technology. The DX121 is an exceptional performer now and for the future.
Applications that the DX121 will support include individual wireless channels for theatrical and live event crews, broadcast control room operators, and technical support crews in government, military, and aerospace industries. It can also be used for distributed wireless support in large facilities and for tactical communications by emergency responders.
The headset and four-wire connections, coupled with an available relay, make it a flexible and surprisingly powerful wireless system in an affordable configuration. The DX121 can be packaged with any of the existing or previous versions of HME remote communicators including the BP200 Beltpac, the WH200 All-In-One Wireless Headset, or the WS200 Wireless Speaker Station.
