HME Introduces the DX300 ES Wireless Headset System for Public Safety

2.4 GHz Digital Technology for Public Safety Applications

San Diego, CA–HME announces the debut of its new DX300ES Wireless Headset System for public safety and tactical personnel. The DX300ES supports three users for hands-free “hot micâ€?, two-way digital communication. With interfacing for two channels, 15 users can simultaneously monitor crew activities and external radio traffic. Its compact design makes it highly portable and very quick to set up and operate.

Unique to the industry is HME’s new Spectrum Friendly(TM) technology which prevents frequency conflicts by enabling the user to select all or part of the 2.4GHz operating frequency range: low, high or full band. Ideal for today’s frequency-congested markets, the DX300ES is a digital spread spectrum system with no license requirements.

According to HME Product Manager Rick Molina, “The DX300ES provides advanced multi-channel digital wireless communication with the ability to activate multiple relay closures both separately and simultaneously. The system is easily configured to operate with almost any portable or mobile radio interfaced at the base station. The encrypted audio and wireless transmissions provide a secure link for critical communication.” Molina says “This new system makes tactical communications more portable and affordable!”

Special features include two-channel operation, dedicated channel relays, battery operation, and four-wire audio interfaces. The DX300ES system can be expanded by “daisy chaining” multiple base stations over standard CAT5 network cable.
