Rise Vision Announces Winter Update to its Digital Signage Content Management Solution, the Rise Display Network
An interactive visual aid and the ability to add RSS feeds and live TV to digital signage playlists enhance the usability and functionality of the Rise Display Network digital signage content management solution
ETOBICOKE, Ontario – February 24, 2009 – Rise Vision, Inc., a provider of a web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, has announced new features for the Winter Release of its Rise Display Network (RDN) service. A Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based content management system sold via the reseller channel, Rise Display Network is updated quarterly by Rise Vision, enabling all users to have immediate access to new features to manage their digital signage networks.
New features to Rise Display Network include:
• Add RSS Feeds to a Play List: Users can now add RSS Feeds to a Play List on Rise Display Network. Favorite web sites feeds – including updating headlines, or any chosen RSS feed – are displayed in the user’s list of Presentations.
• Proof of Play: The new release includes a Proof of Play feature. When users add an item to a Play List, they can enable a log for that item and run detailed or summary Reports on the times that each item plays in the display.
• New Presentation Navigator: This new interactive visual aide helps users visualize and manage their presentations quickly and easily. The Navigator provides a visual representation of all the placeholder locations (zones) within a presentation. Users can manage the placeholders and their playlists directly from the Navigator screen without having to open each individual item.
• Live TV to Play Lists: Where TV was a dedicated placeholder in a presentation, Rise Display Network users now can add live TV and manage TV channel settings within the RDN playlist feature.
“Our mission is to develop a feature-rich digital signage content management solution that is simple to deploy and use, says Ryan Cahoy, Managing Director, Rise Vision, Inc. “Our commitment to quarterly updates means that Rise Display Network users can count on a continued stream of new features that improve usability and enhance functionality.
The Rise Display Network is a web-based, Software-as-a-Service content management system operated by Rise Vision. The new Private Network Program provides resellers with a personalized log-in page where they can promote branding, cross-selling, and event messages directly to end users every time they access their digital signage networks.
