HME Introduces DX300ES Digital 2.4 GHz Wireless Headset System

Base Station of HME’s New DX300ES Digital 2.4 GHz Wireless Headset Intercom SystemFor Live Events, Broadcast and Movie/Video Production

San Diego, CA–HME announces the debut of the new DX300ES Wireless Headset System for live event, remote broadcast and movie/video production crews. The DX300ES supports hands-free, two-way digital communication, with interfacing for two audio channels for external radio or intercom communication. Its compact design makes it highly portable and very quick to set up and operate.

Unique to the industry is HME’s new Spectrum Friendly(TM) technology which prevents frequency conflicts by enabling the user to select all or part of the 2.4GHz operating frequency range: low, high or full band. Ideal for today’s frequency-congested markets, the DX300ES is a digital spread spectrum system with no license requirements.

According to HME Product Manager Rick Molina, “The DX300ES provides advanced multi-channel digital wireless communication with the ability to activate multiple relay closures both separately and simultaneously. The system is easily configured to operate with almost any mobile radio base station or four-wire digital matrix communication system. Now producers can simultaneously monitor two production crews with either crew operating on a mobile radio system.

Special features include two-channel operation, dedicated channel relays, battery operation, and four-wire audio interfaces. Each base enables three COMMUNICATORS® to operate in full-duplex, hands-free mode in the two-channel configuration, and will support up to 15 users. The DX300ES system can be expanded by “daisy chaining” multiple base stations over standard CAT5 network cable.
