ANN ARBOR, Mich. ― March 2, 2009 ― Leon Speakers Inc., a manufacturer of custom-built, audiophile-grade loudspeakers for flat-panel displays, today introduced its new Vault In-Wall Series, a redesigned family of high-fidelity in-wall speakers. Designed as both in-wall mains or as timbre-matched rear channels to perfectly complement the Leon Horizon or Profile Series speakers, these fully sealed and acoustically dampened handcrafted cabinets are available with paintable metal grills or custom-colored fabric grills to perfectly match any room’s décor.

At a depth of only 3.75 inches, Leon’s Vault in-wall speakers fit in any standard wall. They come equipped with high-fidelity, timbre-matched 4-inch (v114i) or 5-inch (v115i) drivers and 1-inch cloth-dome Morel tweeters for uncompromising sound quality. The enclosures are constructed from ¾-inch thermo-wrapped MDF, and feature a 10-gauge laser-cut, cold-rolled precision flange.

A truly integrated sound solution, the speakers offer a unique isolation point mounting system to allow for easy installation pre- or post-construction and superior vibration dampening. A butyl gasket between the wall and speaker further reduces unwanted resonance.

Leon’s v114i is available with standard, audiophile-grade, or Peerless HDS woofers at a starting price of $995. The v115i is available with European or audiophile-grade woofers at a starting price of $1,195. Both models are now shipping.
