Audio Authority Announces New 4×4 HDMI v. 1.3 Matrix

HMX-144 HDMI MatrixLexington, Kentucky, February 27, 2009 – Audio Authority Corporation (www.audioauthority.com) announces the HMX-144 HDMI matrix, one of seven new product introductions scheduled to reach market in the second quarter of 2009.

The HMX-144 HDMI Matrix is Audio Authority’s first HDMI matrix system, and features full HDMI version 1.3 support, including 1080p video, high bitrate audio, and 30-bit deep color. Controllable via RS-232, IR, and front panel controls, the device can be easily integrated with third party control systems.

“There are plenty of HDMI matrix options on the market today, but we chose to hold back until we had a product we could truly be proud of,? said Trent Davis, Audio Authority’s product manager. “We’ve tested this product extensively, and believe it to be the best-performing, most reliable HDMI matrix in its class.?

The matrix system’s HDMI connectors are compatible with screw-type locking HDMI cables, guaranteeing a solid connection and reducing service calls.

The HMX-144 will be available in March 2009 for an anticipated MSRP of $1699.00.
