Premier Mounts Updates GearBox™ Series with Added Security and Function for Projectors

GB-SEC1ANAHEIM, CALIF. (Mar. 11, 2009) – Premier Mounts (www.premiermounts.com) has introduced a new projector mount for its GearBox™ line of security mount products. Designed to better-suit safety, security and function needs in the education, retail and hospitality industries, the new projector mount (GB-SEC1) features the latest in mount security design.

“The GearBox™ Series was designed to provide mounting solutions that are both functional and secure,? said Jason Cole, product marketing manager at Premier Mounts. “With the current economy, many schools, hotels and businesses cannot afford to replace burnt-out or stolen equipment, so, by incorporating solutions such as the new GearBox™, they can better protect their investments. The mount also features universal mounting slots and a lockable tray for A/V equipment storage.?

With more projector mounting-hole patterns than competitive products, the GB-SEC1′s design does not require extra drilling or modifications to install. Additionally, the projector mount is the only security mount on the market to offer lateral shift and a recessed-barrel lock which provides peak performance and unmatched protection and security.

The universal GearBox™ mount features design elements that add to the safety, security and function, including:

•Adapts to standard 1.5-inch NPT
•+/-6° tilt/roll; 360° yaw
•Projector mounts directly to lower tray via unique slotted pattern
•Up to 2 inches of lateral shift in either direction
•Slide-in tray for fast, one-person installation
•Over 300 cubic inch lockable interior space to house cables and A/V equipment
•Mounting slots and louvers provide ample ventilation for equipment
