Clark Solutions offers Progressive line of professional mic cables

ProQuad mic cables with Neutrik ConvertCON connectors & Fieldflex HD with Neutrik heavy duty connectors

Chicago — March 17, 2009 — Clark Wire & Cable announced in their newsletter the immediate availability of their Progressive series cable assemblies. Working from their new company platform, Clark Solutions, these cables are made to withstand harsh abuse giving the engineer one less thing to worry about. Clark’s Product Manager explains, “We have run this cable through the ringer with tests to insure that our customers were getting more than what they pay for. Elongation tests, stress tests, they all proved better than standard PVC materials typically used on cheaper counterparts. We don’t use inferior material made with conductive insulators or anything like that, we use only the highest grade copper, jacketing material and insulation.?

This is just the first in a series of new products that Clark is promoting with their Solutions line. Daniel Collins, Clark’s Director of Marketing discusses the idea behind the adaptation, “We really feel that we are more than just a cookie cutter company. We offer real solutions to real problems. Our Salespeople are highly qualified and many of them have engineering backgrounds which helps tremendously when trying to design an assembly that solves a problem for our customer. I think this mentality of ‘your problem is our problem’ really puts our customers mind at ease. Our employees have been in the shoes of our customers, design engineers, jingle production engineers and musicians; these are the type of people that we have working for our customers.?

Coupled with their phenomenally successful cables, Clark has chosen Neutrik brand connectors to add additional benefits to their assemblies. The ProQuad mic cable is a 4 conductor ultra-flexible cable that is made with Neutrik ConvertCON connectors. ConvertCON connectors can easily transform from a male XLR to a female XLR. The Fieldflex HD also uses Clark’s proprietary Mink jacketed 20 gauge Fieldflex cable and adds additional durability with Neutrik all steel designed, water tight heavy duty connectors.
