ELECTROGRAPH TEAMS WITH HITACHI TO OFFER RESELLERS HIGH-MARGIN INTEGRATION PROJECTORS
March 16, 2009 – HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK – Electrograph Systems, Inc. has expanded its relationship with Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group to provide resellers with a high-margin line of Hitachi Professional Series projectors. Electrograph is currently the exclusive national distributor of the Hitachi StarBoard® line of whiteboards and will host a free webinar on the topic this week.
“High margins are critical, especially when there are fewer installs out there, explained Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems, Inc. “These projectors are available through limited distribution and require authorization to sell. Hitachi and Electrograph are allowing resellers to hold their margins and make a profit – without the concern of internet or other retail sales competition.
Taylor noted that adding the integration projectors to Hitachi’s StarBoard line enables Electrograph to be the go-to distributor for a wide range of Hitachi technology products, especially those for the education market. “Without a doubt, Hitachi’s StarBoard line is enabling educators to take their teaching methods to a whole new creative level with easy-to-operate pen-driven displays, popular interactive wired and wireless white boards, and even portable freedom tablets, he said.
“With the introduction of the Professional Series, Hitachi is broadening its reach to larger venues and more applications than ever before, said Ray Soltys, director of sales, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group. “Electrograph is the ideal distributor to deliver this line of projectors to these markets.
