Listen Up! Calypso Systems Classroom Audio Amplification Solution Helps Lessons Ring True

ca200_print.jpgWOODBURY, MN — Even in today’s technology-driven classrooms, hearing the instructor or a multimedia presentation remains an important element of a student’s education. To deliver crystal-clear sound from instructional technology devices, classroom multimedia solution manufacturer Calypso Systems has introduced a compact audio amplifier (CA-200).

“When using multimedia in the classroom, having integrated, clean-sounding audio is just as important as having high-quality video, yet sometimes the audio falls short,? said Greg Wright, vice president of sales and marketing for Calypso Systems. “The CA-200 audio amplifier simplifies audio integration from multiple sources, making crystal-clear, streaming sound a reliable component of lesson plans.?

An affordable integrated solution, the CA-200 is designed specifically to address the audio needs of K-12 classrooms. It is ideally suited for situations where audio is run through an in-room projector to accommodate simple source switching and volume control. Amplifying the projectors audio output, the CA-200 ensures that the entire room receives high-quality, clear audio from any source, such as a DVD player, computer or MP3 player. Just plug in the projector audio and wire up speakers.

The CA-200 also easily integrates with existing Calypso Systems solutions, such as the CB-1000 wall mount controller and the Wireless Classroom Microphone. In both cases, a simple CAT-5 cable directly connects the devices, which allows for fast and easy installations.

Other features of the CA-200 include:
– 32W of power
– Full IR and serial control
– 4 and 8 Ohm output

The CA-200 has an MSRP of $212.00 with K-12 pricing available. For more information about the compact audio amplifier (CA-200) or other Calypso Systems solutions, please visit http://www.calypsosystems.com or call (888) 381-9646.
