New 16:10 commercial aspect ratio screen formats are now available for Elite Screens Products
CERRITOS, Calif., March 16, 2008 — Elite Screens, Inc. an innovative company that specializes in affordable high quality projection screens, today announced the launch of their new 16:10 commercial aspect ratio for their retractable projection screens.
“The 16:10 aspect ratio is replacing the old 4:3 NTSC format in many new computer models,� said David Rodgers, marketing manager, Elite Screens, Inc. “While I foresee some life still left in the 4:3 aspect ratio, the popularity of 16:10 has really been growing by leaps and bounds.�
The new 16:10 aspect ratio is a popular display format for the latest WXGA laptop and projector configurations.. Since more and more new computers are being made in 16:10, an increased number of commercial presentation environments such as conference rooms, reception halls, public forums and houses of worship are requiring the appropriate screen to accommodate their needs.
Our new 16:10 format is available on our CineWhite (tensioned) and MaxWhite (non-tensioned) 1.1 gain matte white materials.
Pricing, Availability, Warranty
Starting at $149 MSRP for manually operated models, Elite Screen’s 16:10 aspect ratio is currently available in Spectrum, VMAX2, Manual and CineTension2 retractable front projection screens. Sizes range from 94� to 139� diagonal measurements in either tensioned or non tensioned materials. Custom sizes are also available upon request. Each screen comes with a two-year limited parts and labor warranty through Elite Screens with a 3-year warranty program for Government, Educational and House of Worship purchases.
