Lencore Sound Masking Offers Wider Dispersion and Greater Sound Quality with the Best Direct Field System in the Industry Today

CrosswaysOne™(WOODBURY, NY) Lencore Acoustics Corp, a manufacturer of commercial sound masking systems announces the availability of CrosswaysOne™ Sound Masking System; the most flexible, versatile and innovative direct field system available in the industry.

CrosswaysOne™ is the industry’s best direct-field system offering wider dispersion and greater sound quality. The system utilizes the broadest sound spectrum for the highest level of speech privacy and comfort. CrosswaysOne™ is unmatched for tuning and control. Volume and contour adjustments can be made simply and easily via the system’s hand held remote control. Competing direct-field systems do not offer the quality or performance of the CrosswaysOne™ System.

CrosswaysOne™ generates and integrates a random sound masking source and uses E-sound® technology which equates to the best sound and most effective sound masking. The system is designed in such a way that individual speaker or component failure will have no impact on the balance of the system. The system’s tremendous flexibility enables it to be customized to suit any environment.

Lencore is the only sound masking company that offers both standard and large speaker sizes to provide the widest dispersion and best uniformity for direct field systems.

Installation is simplified using plug and play Cat 5e cable with standard RJ12 connections. The CrosswaysOne™ speakers are engineered with dog ear screw adjustments and/or a locator pin to insure an easy, smooth installation.
CrosswaysOne™ allows users to add paging and music to their masking system by the simple addition of amplifiers. Jonathan Leonard, VP of Lencore adds “The unique features of the system enable the same set of speakers that produce the masking within the space, to also support a quality paging system vastly superior to conventional paging systems.? The system’s paging capabilities can be used as an all call or zone paging or both and wherever life safety issues are of concern.
Lencore products are manufactured in the U.S. with high levels of recycled content and within strict environmental guidelines. The CrosswaysOne™ System uses equipment that is manufactured with over 50% recycled aluminum and the plastic content used for the speaker housing is ABS (recycled). The system’s on-going energy costs are negligible and it’s reliability unmatched in the industry.

Currently, LEED HC allows two credits for acoustics and it is expected that other categories of LEED will follow. Sound masking has been considered an acceptable acoustical solution for obtaining speech privacy and should be considered as part of your overall LEED strategies and programs.
