SYMNET TRAINING PROGRAMS QUALIFY FOR INFOCOMM CTS CREDENTIALS

symnet_trainingprograms.JPGMOUNTLAKE TERRACE, WASHINGTON – APRIL 2009: Symetrix is pleased to announce that the company’s SymNet training programs have been added to the InfoComm International CTS Renewal Unit Program. Renewal Units may now be earned through successful completion of SymNet training programs and used to maintain Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), CTS-Design and/or CTS-Installation credentials.

In addition, Symetrix also now offers a web portal for manufacturers’ representatives. Symetrix reps have 24-hour access to all marketing collateral and sales presentations, and may also access dealer account information and shipping details.

The Symetrix SymNet Onsite Program has been approved for four RUs across all CTS certifications. The Symetrix SymNet Webinar Program has been approved for two RUs, also across all certifications.

The Symetrix Syminar Online Training for SymNet provides an introduction to the fundamental skills and concepts behind SymNet. Each course may be completed on each individual’s own schedule and at his or her own pace. Individuals may also return at any time after completing the courses for a refresher and to search by keyword to find a specific topic within each course.

The InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist designations are internationally recognized AV certifications. By requiring continuing education and periodic renewal, all three certifications are American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited under the International Standard ISO/IEC 17024 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Certification Schemes of Persons program.
