Fulcrum Acoustic announces company and product debut at InfoComm 2009

fulcrumacoustic-andyjordan-manufacturing2.jpgFulcrum Acoustic LLC (booth # 6535) of Linwood, MA and Rochester, NY, has chosen to make both its company and product debut at InfoComm, the world’s largest AV trade show. The company was founded in early 2008 by industry veterans David Gunness, Stephen Siegel and Chris Alfiero, and has made steady progress in creating several innovative technologies and two loudspeaker product series. Recently, longtime friends and colleagues Rich Frembes, Andy Jordan and Ed Wyllie have joined the company.

Fulcrum products will be on display at InfoComm, including live demos throughout the show. Visitors will be able to discuss technology with the company founders, including Fulcrum’s new coaxial design techniques and Temporal EQ (TQ™) design and processing techniques.

Fulcrum is debuting two product families at the show, both of which are manufactured in the USA. The Prophile series provides high output and high fidelity in compact enclosures. The horizontal packaging makes them ideal for nightclubs or other performance facilities where music quality is important, but ceiling heights dictate solutions with minimal vertical size. Prophile loudspeakers can nestle up against ceilings, or be recessed to minimize sightline intrusion and general visual impacts.

The TQ Install series starts with the CX and DX series of coaxial solutions. Several innovations allow the CX/DX products to provide very high fidelity, smooth off-axis response and high output in surprisingly compact packages. Multiple driver sizes and coverage patterns are available to suit a wide variety of applications.
