Hall Research Launches HDMIâ„¢ Extension Over a Single Cat5 Cable at InfoComm09
Hall Research Technologies, a leading designer and manufacturer of Audio/Video distribution, switching, scaling, and automation products, is launching their new UH-1C, HDMIâ„¢ Over a Single Cat5 extension kit at the top industry trade show, InfoComm09 in Orlando, Florida.
Tustin, CA, 92780 – Hall Research is proud to announce that the UH-1C, HDMI over a Single Cat5 extension kit will be launched at the Audio/Video industry’s largest trade show, InfoComm09 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida in June 2009.

Hall Research Technologies has taken pride in innovating sending of video, audio, control, and power over a single Cat5 cable for over a decade. “Since 1998 when our company created the Mini-Cat® VGA over twisted-pair extension technology, our development team has been working to stay ahead of the curve particularly with video extension products, as technology evolves and our customers’ demands change” said Ali Haghjoo, Chief Executive Officer. “As High Definition becomes the new standard for video, our development team has put together a product that will make the distribution of HDMI easier and affordable. Today we’re proud to announce the launch of the latest product to join the Mini-Cat® family HDMI over a Single Cat5 Cable.”

The UH-1C allows its user to extend full digital 1080p HDTV or PC video on a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It assures 100% video signal integrity, extending a pure, uncompressed digital format. In addition, the UH-1C is daisy-chainable, and the re-clocked output creates a skew-free image for maximum compatibility with any HDMI or DVI equipped LCD or projector. With the UH-1C, users will be able to reach distances of over 200 feet at 720p or 1080i, and 160 feet at full 1080p.

Hall Research Technologies will be publicly demonstrating the UH-1C at their booth (#4178) at InfoComm09 for the first time to the Audio/Video industry as well as to the general public.
