Premier Mounts Joins Forces to Provide Turnkey Classroom Audio/Visual Solution

CLASSPACANAHEIM, CALIF. (June 12, 2009) – For many, purchasing, installing and integrating classroom A/V equipment can be a time consuming and frustrating process. Not anymore. Premier Mounts (InfoComm booth #4528, www.mounts.com) has joined forces with a collective of five leading A/V equipment manufacturers to introduce the CLASSPAC (www.CLASSPACpro.com), a suite of turnkey solutions designed to address specific classroom A/V needs.

Introduced at InfoComm 09, CLASSPAC is designed to save schools time and money by allowing integrators to design, budget and specify A/V solutions using product partners’ solutions. Premier Mounts’ partner suppliers in the CLASSPAC solution include: Aurora Multimedia Corp, OWI Inc., WolfVision, Draper Inc. and Dimonoff.

“Job responsibilities today are more demanding than ever, leaving less time to research product solutions, compare vendors and ensure all necessary pieces work together,? said Tiffany Dozier-Houck, vice president of sales at Premier Mounts. “CLASSPAC is the ideal solution because it simplifies the product specification process, provides a turnkey solution for installation and takes the hassle out of integration. Best of all, because each of the components come from companies that integrators know and trust, risk associated with quality and support isn’t an issue.?

At the core of the CLASSPAC is Premier Mounts’ PDS Universal projector mount (PDS-PLUS-W), A/V equipment storage GearBox™ (GB-PIPE1) and a false ceiling t-bar frame adapter with quick locking cable (PP-FCTA-QL). Ideal for projectors under 75lbs., the PDS Universal projector mount includes Lock-It™ security hardware and eight universal legs for easy installation.

Through CLASSPAC, component selection is dramatically simplified through the use of an online configuration tool which allows A/V professionals to order the system directly from the manufacturer (model: PSD-CLAPAK). In addition to the base model, a CLASSPAC solution can be customized to meet any project requirement. All components are tested during a certification process to ensure interoperability. The CLASSPAC base system has a starting MSRP of $3,499.00.
