Stage Research Spawns LightFactory2: Ingenious Lighting Control Software Bringing Innovation To Artistry
Stage Research, award-winning theatrical lighting/sound authority, is pleased to present its new LightFactory 2 software to the industry.
A breakthrough in PC-based lighting control, LightFactory 2 dimmer/movement software supports engineers, operators and/or designers for an all-inclusive, all-resource control desk that’s always reliable.
LightFactory 2 can control complex fixtures with any number of attributes, as well as multiple kinds in arbitrary mode. The software employs special controls for rotation, XYZ, and HSI color mixing.
The new advanced color heuristics system contained therein allows one to select various fixtures with respective color mixing systems and apply a chosen color, with optimal output.
Also featured in this software wonderkind is a very flexible paletting system, which allows both abstract and specific palettes to be added to any attribute of a cue. A new, enhanced fan control affords options to fan most attribute types, from a friendly touch-screen.
Output hardware and network interfaces can be mixed and matched for easy Ethernet load management. As expected, the multi-lingual LightFactory 2 includes all the robust cue, data and trigger features that have made the original LightFactory software a standard, industry-wide staple.
Reflects Stage Research’s Carlton Guc: “We’re bringing to market a lighting control software system that marks significant advancements over our prized first edition. LightFactory 2,” he says, “will set new boundaries in terms of function and protocol. And crew members will find the effects range to be virtually limitless!
