– The Affordable CP-D10 Offers Short Throw Distance, a 4,000-Hour Hybrid Filter and Advance Security Functions –
Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group today introduced the CP-D10 3LCD projector that delivers a new level of affordability for a short-throw projector. The CP-D10 is the latest in Hitachi’s line of superior short-throw projectors and offers Hitachi’s customary abundance of features.
The Hitachi CP-D10 projector is ideal for use in classrooms that utilize an interactive whiteboard as well as small meeting rooms where space may be limited. The projector features a short throw distance of three feet that projects an 80-inch image, eliminating image obstruction in front of the screen.
The CP-D10 projector’s extensive features include Closed Captioning functionality and input source naming. It also comes equipped with AMX Device Discovery™ technology. When integrating a serial or IP device that supports AMX Device Discovery, all AMX NetLinx Integrated Central Controllers automatically recognize the device and systematically load the appropriate communications module or driver, initializing the new device for use.
The CP-D10 offers a brightness (light output) of 2,000 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio and XGA resolution. It includes a 4,000-hour hybrid filter for easy maintenance. The CP-D10 also addresses security issues, featuring a security bar, PIN lock, a transition detector and Kensington slot.
The CP-D10 includes proprietary Hitachi functions including MyScreen, MyMemory, MyButton, MyText and MySource. It also offers blackboard/whiteboard mode, daytime mode and audio pass-through.
“The CP-D10 is Hitachi’s response to the growing demand for an economical and affordable short-throw projector,” said John Glad, product manager, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group.
