Hitachi Software Introduces StarBoard T-19WX Wide Interactive Display
– The T-19WX Provides Full Functionality of Interactive Whiteboard Through 19-Inch Wide Screen –
Hitachi Software Engineering America, Ltd. today introduced the new StarBoard T-19WX Interactive Display, raising the standards for features and performance in interactive tablets. The T-19WXL is a wide, ergonomic, pen-driven, SXGA resolution 19-inch LCD display, which works in conjunction with the Hitachi Software suite of presentation and collaboration tools. The T-19WX allows a user to deliver interactive presentations and write digital notes on the pen display, while the audience views the visuals projected on a larger screen.
The T-19WX features eight customizable software shortcuts, a wireless pen with two customizable buttons, handwriting recognition capabilities, an adjustable tilt stand and VESA mount and VGA output connector, reflecting the latest in tablet presentation technology. Additionally, the wide screen was specifically developed for users requiring a larger workspace, and is designed to optimize an image for widescreen projection.
Available StarBoard Software is accessed through an intuitive, icon-driven interface that enables the presenter to easily operate in a whiteboard mode, or to annotate right over Windows applications or digital video on the display. Collaboration software empowers the T-19WX with the ability to effortlessly communicate with other StarBoard systems, allowing simultaneous viewing and annotation, using multiple systems connected either locally or across the Internet.
“The new T-19WX offers increased functionality and an array of enhanced presentation features to users. Those who desire the functionality of a full-size interactive whiteboard but do not have the space or budget, now have an economical solution that will meet their needs,� stated John Glad, product manager, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group.
The StarBoard T-19WX Interactive Display is 18.2’’ H x 13.7� W x 2.4� D and weighs approximately 12 pounds. The T-19WX tablet also features a writing resolution of 1000 Lpi and aspect ratio of 16:10.
