Alcorn McBride Introduces Touchscreen Interface for Show Controllers
Orlando, Florida — Alcorn McBride has unveiled ShowTouch, a user interface designer for Alcorn McBride show controllers. Offering a user-friendly drag and drop utility, the ShowTouch designer allows users to design full-featured touchscreen user interfaces for show or media control applications of any size. Its platform includes a large library of virtual switches, buttons, indicators and displays. ShowTouch allows the user’s interface to obtain real-time information from the show controller; it also allows the interface programming to be archived and retrieved from the controller which makes it simple to add a new touchscreen interface to the network.
“With ShowTouch, show and media control are made easy and intuitive for users, said Jeremy Scheinberg, Alcorn McBride Chief Operating Officer. “Everything the user needs for complete show control is made available in a single, easy to understand interface. All the user needs to do to start an event or sequence of events is to push a button.
The ShowTouch software is included free with the purchase of an Alcorn McBride V16 Pro show controller. It can run on any Windows PC; Alcorn McBride also offers complete hardware and software solutions that include a touchscreen panel.
