Park City, Utah – SoundTube Entertainment, the leading manufacturer of high-performance commercial sound systems, has introduced the new 31-EZ Series of surface-mount, ceiling-mount and in-wall 3â€? speakers. These high fidelity micro modules offer outstanding sonic performance with simple mounting and high power handling.
The series includes:
• SM31-EZ, a surface-mount, 3� (76 mm) speaker incorporating a 3� polypropylene full range driver with butyl rubber surround. The speaker features a new SoundTube-exclusive mounting system that rotates 0 to 90o, connected to a wall plate that swivels 173o in both directions. No tools are needed to lock the speaker’s positioning. With all wires connecting at the speaker’s wall plate back box, installations contain no visible wires; components are weatherized for indoor or outdoor use. The SM31-EZ is available in black or white (custom colors available); models are available with and without a 20W transformer package.

• CM31-EZ, a ceiling-mount speaker with a 3� polypropylene full range driver with butyl rubber surround in a shallow 3.75� (95 mm) backcan. The speaker features SoundTube’s rapid fixed-wing installation and incorporates a 20 watt transformer plus black or white grille (custom painting available). Components are weatherized for durability.

• IW31-EZ, an in-wall speaker providing a 3� polypropylene full range driver with butyl rubber surround in a 3.75� backcan. This unit also offers SoundTube’s rapid fixed-wing installation, a 20 watt transformer, and a square grille in black or white (custom painting available). An optional theft-resistant stainless grille is also available.
