PHOENIX, ARIZ., July 14, 2009 –Plura Broadcast, a leading manufacturer of high-end professional LCD monitors for studio and field use, has hired industry veteran Van Duke to serve as national business development manager and Leslie Brock as West Coast sales manager.

A former broadcast engineer, Duke has worked in professional broadcast sales for 15 years, most recently with file-based playout manufacturers. In previous positions, he helped design the in-house and outside broadcast applications for the Ryder Basketball Arena at the University of Miami, as well as video production facilities for the Miami-Dade County Emergency Operation Center. Brock is relatively new to the broadcast industry, after spending several years as a mortgage loan consultant and sales rep for a publication company in Southern Nevada.
