Intelix Releases Enhanced Passive VGA Extender with Built-in Skew Correction

Middleton, WI- Intelix LLC, U.S. manufacturer of audio/video equipment and software, recently announced the release of the AVO-VGA, the latest product in their passive audio/video over twisted pair extender line. The AVO-VGA extends video signals up to 450 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cable, such as Cat 5 or Cat 6.

“The AVO-VGA is an exciting release,? explains Steve Cohan, Intelix C.E.O. “VGA over twisted pair extension has always been a challenge—it usually comes down to balancing price against performance. Passive products are inexpensive, but they lack the skew correction of active models. The AVO-VGA changes that.?

The AVO-VGA features an innovative skew correcting switch to fix image smearing and blurring. In addition, its compact size allows for easy mounting, and its shielded metal case and grounding screw provides for exceptional electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection. Each AVO-VGA includes one send balun, one receive balun, and one three foot VGA cable.

To use, simply connect the AVO-VGA send balun to your source device (typically a computer), connect the AVO-VGA receive balun to the destination device (typically a monitor or projector), and link the two baluns with standard unshielded twisted pair cable. No power supply required!

The AVO-VGA is ideal for education, government, house of worship, corporate, residential, and any other application requiring VGA video distribution.

Retail price for the AVO-VGA extender set is $174.95.
