Wainhouse Research Summit Uses Revolabs High Definition Wireless Microphones
Revolabs, the leading provider of wireless audio products for enhancing collaboration, today announced that its Executive HD Wireless Microphone System was used as the primary microphone system at Wainhouse Research Collaboration Futures Summit held July 28th and 29th at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Considered to be the industry’s premier conferencing and collaboration event, the Wainhouse Research Summit brought leading industry experts and analysts together with business managers, IT and A/V managers, service providers, and vendors to discuss the future of voice, video and unified communications. Sponsors of the event included videoconference equipment providers, Tandberg and Lifesize, as well as major AV distributors, such as AVI/SPL and York Telecom. The presenters wore the Revolabs HD Wearable Wireless Microphone on his/her lapel, tie, or suit pocket, or on a lanyard. Several times throughout the event, five panelists sat at a table with three Revolabs Directional HD Wireless Microphones evenly spaced on the table, and the audience asked questions using a handheld microphone plugged into the Revolabs HD Wireless XLR Adapter.
“We are very pleased that Wainhouse Research used our HD Wireless Microphones in lieu of wired microphones at their recent event, said Martin Bodley, president and CEO of Revolabs. “The sound quality was great, even when the presenters were walking around. The use of the various Revolabs microphone types, wearable, tabletop, and handheld, allowed all of the speakers to be natural and move around the room, yet the audience could still hear every word.
KVL Audio Visual Services provides the audio-visual services and technologies at the Royal Sonesta Boston. Christopher Thomas, KVL’s Director of Event Technology, was skeptical when first learning about the Revolabs Wireless Microphone Solution. After the successful event, he said, “I will have to rethink my feelings about wireless microphones. The audio quality, flexibility, and convenience of the Revolabs Executive HD Wireless Microphone System proved to be a very compelling solution. Additionally, the HD Control Panel allows us to monitor the status of the rechargeable battery in the Revolabs microphones, avoiding any problem with dead batteries. The system is very well engineered to meet our needs.
