Forecast Consoles Moves To New Facility

August 1, 2009: Forecast Consoles moved to it’s new facility located at:
681 Old Willets Path, Hauppauge, New York 11788.

Bill Haberman, President/CEO announced the completion of its corporate relocation today. Describing the move as “strategic, Haberman called it “‘the next smart step in keeping with our companies’ on-going commitment to ‘LEAN’ manufacturing and to our ‘GREEN’ initiative?. “Economics was also a major factor in the decision to move. In addition to reducing the yearly cost of our lease, the facilities’ direct accessibility to major highways, will provide appreciable savings in shipping & transportation costs?. “Clients will find a much easier commute when visiting the factory and showroom by car or rail?.

Energy conservation has become a world challenge. Having been recently upgraded, Forecast’s new building promises to be 50% more energy efficient then their last. The buildings loading docks, drive-ins and office location are designed for optimum workflows. Haberman states: “The production layout for receiving, fabricating, assembly and shipping will save a million steps and a world of time. The reduction in energy consumption and the minimizing of wasted efforts will provide for real cost savings for our company and in turn, our clients?.

Relocating also provides Forecast with a pathway to accomplishing other planned goals such as, further automation of their manufacturing processes, dramatically reduced time between initial order & completion and still more optimization of its quality control programs.

Everyone at the company appears to be very excited about this move. You can sense the optimism when you talk to workers and supervisors as you move through the new facility. It’s a great feeling?!
