EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Aug. 11, 2009 — PPC, the global leader in connector technology, today announced that it has named Eric Bodley as the company’s vice president and general manager of consumer electronics. A veteran of the consumer electronics industry, Bodley brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to his new role at PPC, where he will strengthen the company’s current line of consumer interconnect cables, bulk cable solutions, and patented compression connectors and tools, and build the PPC brand in the consumer electronics space.

Bodley has more than 35 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry, having worked with leading retail and custom installation companies on sales, management, and operational issues. Prior to joining PPC, Bodley held the role of senior sales director at Monster Cable Products, Inc.

Bodley’s previous positions include principal consultant at Bodley & Associates, Inc., a technology consulting firm; and president and founder of Florida Home Entertainment Design, a CEPro Top 100 integrator. Bodley is a past president of the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), having served on the CEDIA Board for more than ten years, and has been a member of the CEA’s PARA Board for two years.
