Electrosonic Products Named Preferred Manufacturing Partner of USAV Group, a National Association of Pro AV Integrators

Electrosonic Products is pleased to announce it has been selected as a Preferred Manufacturing Partner (PMP) of Denver-based USAV Group, a national association of leading professional AV integrators founded in 2001.

The goal of USAV Group is to leverage the experience and core competencies of its affiliated integrators, PMPs and management to meet the needs of clients and consultants locally and nationwide. USAV’s influential integrators, who currently number 30, are dedicated to designing, sourcing, implementing and supporting innovative commercial AV projects.

“It’s not easy to become a PMP: It’s a very select group,” points out USAV CEO K.C. Schwarz. “We get a lot of inquiries from manufacturers interested in becoming PMPs. We’re looking for partners with broad product lines and an excellent reputation, manufacturers with equipment that will achieve a critical mass among our integrators. Manufacturers have to go through an exhaustive review process just to get in the game then have to win a two-thirds vote of our members. Electrosonic is the gold standard in a growing and important niche in the pro AV arena, and we believe that USAV will help broaden their product distribution and increase penetration in this sector.”

Electrosonic Products manufactures three main product lines for the pro AV arena -video and graphics streaming encoders and decoders, multi-image video processing, and HD players – which are ideal solutions for the market areas represented by USAV’s members: command and control, emergency operation centers, network operations centers, houses of worship, high-end digital signage, broadcast, government, and corporate.

Electrosonic has pioneered the migration of video and graphics over IP and has successfully deployed the VISIONetwork system in several high profile accounts. The new ES7100 is among the first 3G-SDI encoders on the market and provides unmatched image quality over IP networks

Electrosonic’s multi-image processors are also renowned for their high image quality and reliable performance, says Peter Taylor, Electrosonic Products’ Channel Manager, “Electrosonic has deployed hundreds of control room processors worldwide over the past decade, many of which are still being used today in demanding 24/7 environments.”

Taylor adds, “The processors’ unique capabilities and performance are unmatched in the market and with the advent of the new lower cost Quantum Connect, Electrosonic can address the whole processor market from basic to extremely high end.”

“Electrosonic has also shipped thousands of HD players for pre-show advertising in cinemas as well as for use in museums, themed entertainment and corporate environments,” he continues.

In addition to providing access to a platform of influential integrators, USAV also offers PMPs a training and certification channel for their products. This ensures Electrosonic will be well represented in the marketplace by USAV member integrators.

“USAV has recognized the need, through training and partnering, to embrace the current wave in AV/IT that is helping their customers reduce costs and offer scalable solutions by promoting video-over-IP streaming and virtual switching capabilities,” says Taylor. “With USAV intelligently addressing the needs of this market and with Electrosonic bringing 45 years of leading product development and expertise to the table, we’re looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship that not only spans products but also supports our joint customers.”
